Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PocketTech ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PocketTech is a field service management platform that provides scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, diagnostic tools, and reporting for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general contracting businesses.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

PocketTech is offered on a per-seat, per-month subscription basis. Pricing is published at thepocket.tech/pricing. You will be billed at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.

5. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe or your account will be paused.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into PocketTech. We will not access, use, or share your data except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the Service's operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any part of the system.

8. SMS / Text Message Terms

By providing your mobile phone number to PocketTech or to an HVAC service business that uses PocketTech, and by opting in through a clearly labeled checkbox on a web form or a toggle in the PocketTech customer portal, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages related to your service appointments, estimates, invoices, and account activity.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact the HVAC business directly using the contact information they provided.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. PocketTech and the HVAC businesses using the platform do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Supported carriers include all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For more information about how mobile information is handled, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Integrations

PocketTech offers optional integrations with third-party services, including but not limited to Intuit QuickBooks Online, Stripe, and others. By enabling an integration, you authorize PocketTech to exchange data between your PocketTech account and the connected third-party service on your behalf, subject to the scope you approve during the connection flow.

Authorization. You must have authority to connect the third-party account you authorize. You agree that the third-party service's terms of use and privacy policy govern its handling of any data once it leaves PocketTech.

QuickBooks Online. Use of the QuickBooks Online integration is additionally subject to Intuit's terms of service and Intuit's privacy policy. PocketTech is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Intuit. Intuit, QuickBooks, and related marks are trademarks of Intuit Inc. PocketTech makes no warranty regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of data exchanged with QuickBooks, and is not responsible for changes to the QuickBooks API that may affect the integration.

Disconnection. You may disconnect any third-party integration at any time from your account settings. PocketTech will revoke stored access tokens and stop syncing data within a reasonable period after disconnection.

10. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable subscription fees, PocketTech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription. You may not (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; (b) resell, rent, or sublicense the Service; (c) use the Service to build a competing product; or (d) circumvent any technical limitations of the Service. All right, title, and interest in the Service, including all intellectual property rights, remain with PocketTech.

11. Limitation of Liability

PocketTech is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PocketTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
